             The objectives are; to call on Arab Statisticians from government statistical agencies, Universities, International and regional organizations, policy makers and planners or any other users, to get together for the first time in the Arab world, to announce and emphasize the importance of good statistical work, and to point out the role of the National Statistical Organizations, and the need of Capacity building in statistics.
           It also aims to bring to discussion certain topics between academic people and field statisticians to improve statistical educational and training materials.
 
The main of themes of the conference are:

 1st  theme : Statistics & its Importance to Development

-         Millennium Development Goals

-         Strategic Planning

-         Human Resources Development

-         Demographic Statistics

-         Migration Statistics

-         Economic Statistics

2nd  theme: Capacity Building

-         Present situation of the NSO

-    Human Resources of the NSO(It's qualification)

-    Present situation of the Arab Statistical work statistics

-    Capacity Buildings

3rd   theme: The Arab Statistical System

-         Ethics in Statistics work

-     Independence statistics work

-     International classifications and Indices and the Arab situation.

4th  theme : The relation between Academic Statistics and Applied Statistics.

-         statistics science

-     information technology & Statistics

-     Sampling

 

The paper should be:

 

  1. Use Microsoft Word 2003 or newer edition to type the paper.
  2. The size of the paper is A4 equal to 21 X 29.7 cm.
  3. The right and the left margins equal to 3.0 cm.
  4. The inner body of the paper must be without any borders.
  5. The font size equal 14.
  6. The font type is Arial.
  7. Any software used to produce images or tables must be attached.

             We hope that all those who like to submit a paper, to send us a short abstract before 15 of July and then should send the final paper in a typed paper form and electronic form.
