Dr Hedi Saidi (Tunisian Nationality) started his work as Director General of AITRS at the Institute's headquarters in Jordan - Amman after receiving his duties from the former Director General Mr. Abdelaziz Maalmi. The decision to appoint Dr Hedi Saidi as Director-General of the Institute was made at forty-third session of AITRS Board Trustees meeting that held in Amman in November last year. Dr Hedi Saidi has held the position of Director General of the National Institute of Statistics in the Tunisian Republic. Saidi holds the certificate of the State Engineer in Economic Statistics as well as the Masters Degree in Applied Quantitative Curriculum and has a long history in administrative and technical work. Dr. Saidi is the seventh Director General of the Institute Since its inception in four decades.
