AITRS, represented by Mrs Amani Bajjali in the closing ceremony of the “Global Knowledge Index (GKI)” on 28 March 2019. In the presence of a representative of the Prime Minister, the Minister of State for Media Affairs, Government Spokesperson, Jumana Ghunaimat, held the closing ceremony of the Knowledge Week launched by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) In collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, at the Abdul Hamid Shoman Foundation in Amman. The Global Knowledge Index aims to support countries in their development process by formulating practical recommendations with a focus on the role and importance of knowledge as an entry point for achieving comprehensive and sustainable human development.
The Knowledge Project launched the Global Knowledge Index workshop as a part of the ongoing effort to promote the use of the Global Knowledge Index as a tool for change and to disseminate it widely in political debates - calling on young people in Jordan to assess their country's results in the World Knowledge Index, In parallel with the sustainable development goals 2030 (SDGS), and reaching to recommendations on how to improve their situation
