During the period 3-5 March 2020, AITRS organize e-learning training workshop in the field of data science and big data. This workshop is the result of the increased importance of data science recently and the attention of united nations organizations and the need to analyze and study data that is increasingly increasing from multiple sources and in different forms, known as big data and the need for such data to special methods and processing tools.

The workshop mainly aimed to:

• inform participants about the concept of data science and big data,
• to increase participants' awareness of the importance of data science
• by providing participants with identification and data science sections;

Dr. Hassan Abu Hassan, Bir Zeit University, Palestine, an expert in data science, was present at the course. The training method was based on theoretical lectures and presentations as well as interactive online discussions
